This is a yearly subscription for the Clay Club:CAULDRONS here at Throw and Grow. Please make sure you understand exactly what you are purchasing by reading all the information below.
By buying a 2023 Clay Club:CAULDRONS! subscription, you will :
-Receive two different cauldrons of my choice on a span of twelve months. The first one will come around March 10th and the second once around August 10th. Note that these dates are only approximate.
-Get free shipping. This subscription includes shipping and, therefore, represents a discounted price for each cauldron, but be assured that the items you will be receiving will be nothing short of what you have seen me make in the past. Older loved designed and possibly new ones. Cauldrons are much bigger than mugs!
-Be allowed ONE specification per subscription. What this means is that you will be allowed to give me a single direction about your preference in the buyers note. For example: I would really love a white cauldron or I would love drainage holes. I will do my best to make that happen for you during your subscription. You will understand that I can only allow one per subscription or this would become impossible to manage.
If you are local (Arcata, CA) and would like a local pick up option, you can contact me. Please understand that all the shipping conditions apply as per other items in the shop. If you need anything more than priority shipping (for example, a signature required package or insurance, you need to specify by contacting me or use the buyers note)
As far as being fire safe, I unfortunately cannot take responsibility for anything that could happen if you decide to use fire with this item. A little like my mugs are dishwasher safe, but I would recommend hand washing for longevity. Having said that, they are made from the same materials I make candle holders and incense trays, which I have used multiple times without issue. If you are going to burn in them (and by that I mean actual fire, not incense and such), the safest way is to use sand, salt or something of that matter to help diffuse the heat in the cauldron.
No matter how you decide to use them, I hope you have a great load of fun and that they will know to make you happy. I have build them sturdy, like most my stuff, because I believe ceramics should be used and loved, taken outside and on your favorite adventures. This cauldron was wheel thrown, decorated and glazed me.
It’s important to note that lusters DO NOT go in the microwave or the dish washer. They are higher maintenance pieces and need gentle care. They are priced according to the fact that the luster itself is expensive and requires a third firing.
